CyberShield ("we", "us") provides written security checkups for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Contact information you provide: name, email address, and business details submitted through our contact form or security questionnaire.
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number — Stripe handles all card data.
• Service information: answers you give in our security questionnaire (e.g., which tools you use, how you handle backups) so we can prepare your written report.
• Basic analytics: anonymized page-visit counts via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles.

2. How we use your information

• To deliver the service you purchased (security audit report, setup service, or care-plan check-ins).
• To communicate with you about your order — by email only. We do not make sales calls.
• To improve our services and website.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Data retention

We keep your contact details and questionnaire answers for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterward (up to 24 months) for support and record-keeping. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

4. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email your request to contact@getshieldcheck.com and we will respond within 30 days.

5. Security

We use HTTPS on all pages, limit access to your data to the people who need it to do the work, and never ask for your passwords by email. If you ever receive a message asking for your password claiming to be from us, do not respond — contact us at contact@getshieldcheck.com instead.

6. Third parties

• Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
• Cloudflare — website delivery and anonymized analytics (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).

7. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
